Who is responsible

The data controller is Tiago Morais, an independent developer based in Spain. Contact: tiago_morais@me.com. This notice covers trash.nexthq.app and explains your rights under the GDPR.

What is sent, and where

If you contribute packaging data

You can optionally send a packaging material back to Open Food Facts, which asks for your Open Food Facts username and password. Those are posted from your browser straight to Open Food Facts. They do not pass through this site's server, and we never see, store or log them. What you contribute is governed by Open Food Facts' own terms.

What stays on your device

Three things, in your browser's local storage — not cookies, and never sent anywhere:

Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all three. There are no cookies, no analytics, no trackers and no advertising on this site.

Who processes anything for us

Fly.io (hosting) and Open Food Facts (the product database the answers come from). That is the whole list. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for marketing.

Your rights

You have the right of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection. In practice there is almost nothing here to exercise them against — we hold no account and no record tied to you — but if you have a question, write to tiago_morais@me.com. You may also complain to the Spanish supervisory authority, the AEPD (www.aepd.es), or to the authority where you live.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
